  This place was around when I first visited the Island 35 years ago and still seems to be running strong while keeping rates at more than reasonable levels. It's an icon and possibly one of the best motels in North America.

  We stayed here last evening as we had a family wedding in Summerside. The room was excellent, very clean and up-to-date. We enjoyed the fresh coffee available in the office this morning.

  Outstanding value! Newly renovated, clean everything, comfortable bed and pillows, abundant and good quality breakfast, small patio with chairs out the back for nicer weather. Miles, the owner, was so friendly and a wealth of information for tourists.

  The only downside was that we were only here for a night and the weather was miserable! But we would gladly stay again and recommend to others.

  Very, very clean. Great mattresses, so we had a great sleep. The staff/owners are super friendly and helpful. Breakfast is toast, muffins, juice and coffee. Good to get you started or breakfast places are nearby. Best motel I ever stayed at.

  My family loved our stay at Clark's. The rooms are well appointed, large and clean with lots of little touches you wouldn't expect to see at this price point. The location is great, but beware of insects on the walk to the beach (our younger crowd was quite put out by then). We would definitely recommend staying here to explore the island from a reasonable and comfortable home base.
